The first noticeable thing is the wonky packaging. I think that's typical with UD's primer products. :) It has funky lid that has an extra screw on portion that I haven't been able to figure out why it's there. Maybe it's just part of the manufacturing process?
Anyways, the actually opening on this squeeze bottle is pretty wide. Since the primer directions state that a little goes a long way, I find the mouth for this product to be just a little too wide. This is true- it doesn't take a lot to be effective. But the mouth sometimes allows the product to spurt out in too large of a chunk, so you need to be careful when dispensing the product.
(wonky lid that made me wonder if there was something more to it)

But the product itself is pretty good! As mentioned, you just need a tiny bit- like, half of a pea. It reminds me a lot of MAC's primer, or MUFE's HD primer, in that it's a white filmy primer that dries clear, so kinda like Elmer's Glue. :)
It has a very very slight adhesive quality that is ideal for liquid or powder foundations. And yes, the primer makes the foundation quite long. Not forever, but a decent amount! I'd say, after 5 hours it's still quite solid. There's a teeny bit of shine on the t-zone area, but it's more of the dewy shine and less of the oily sheen.
Overall, I would say that if I had to choose Urban Decay and Tarte's Clean Slate, I would choose Tarte. They are both the same price ($30), but Tarte's Clean Slate is made with natural materials, and I like that idea better. I think $30 is a lot for any primer, but I am more willing to pay for a natural primer than this one. But if you want a long-lasting, accessible primer, UD is your best bet!

I think I might have to give this a try although I am fairly happy with MACs prep and prime, I would try the tarte clean slate but have no idea where it is sold in the UK.
You're not supposed to take the entire cap off. The point has a hole in it, similar to a bottle of Elmer's Glue.
